Lost/Damaged property statement
Let's face it, accidents can happen so, in those moments where you're already stressed out, we'll do our very best to rectify the situation as painlessly as possible.
If it's our fault, we follow the guidelines of the Hotel Proprietors Act 1956 which has information about the level of liability that applies.
If we find any lost property, we will make every effort to return it to the rightful owner as soon as possible. However, if we cannot find the owner and it is not reclaimed with 3 months of departure, we will donate it to one of our chosen local charities. If a call is made regarding collection an item of lost property, we'll keep it for one further month from the date of the call for collection. Alternatively, we'd be happy to arrange for delivery, subject to standard postal charges.
But all that aside, please look after your personal belongings. If you need to store any items, just ask reception and we can arrange secure storage for you.
